The kids got to go to Grannies and play with Ike one day, while Ace and I went to Socorro. We got the tax, title and license for our truck there. I also bought a few pairs of pants, because after throwing the 10th pair across the room in a rage, Ace said, "Just stop, let's buy you a pair that fit."

I played with my camera a little bit this week.

Denim is working on her numbers. She is very good at counting and knowing the concept of what the numeral is, but recognizing the number is difficult for her. I put the numbers on one side and she had to match them up with a pile of counting bears. 10 piles each. It helped. I am going to have to get more creative ideas with the numbers.

Blazen made me a lollipop. Doesn't it look good!

It was so nice that we took a walk down to the barn. Denim was running ahead and then she stopped, turned around, and came back for Blazen. She told me, "Dad said that I have to take care of Blazen and I can't leave him, let's go Blazen." Off they ran, with Denim the little mother hen behind her brother.

The downside is all of the mud. Blazen beat me to the barn. His boots got stuck in the mud. "Help mom." Good thing that I have a wash machine.

The barn is fun to play in. All the contraptions create adventure.

Denim was off and on her little pony ALL week long. She would tie and untie him. Jump off and on. Good thing he is nearly crippled and gentle.

Denim was persistent that we find a bridle for him. We went to the barn, but didn't have much success. The one that I found was still to big, and he fought it. I did try though. We will have to figure something else out for that little mouth.

Chalk on the deck was popular. Denim wrote lots of her letters. She feels pride in being able to do them. She is getting it, that they mean something, that she can communicate if she learns to write.

We couldn't find Blazen's hat, so he borrowed sister's. He was adamant that he had to have a hat. He also put it on himself. Can you tell?

Not every moment is a happy one. This picture broke my heart. Sometimes life can be disappointing.

Darlin Dawn is growing so fast. She is really getting alert. She is so much fun. We all love having a baby.

We went with Ace to Quemado to pick up the ranch truck. We ate at the Largo, then Ace took the kids to pick a treat at the store. Then he took Denim and Blazen and played with them at the school playground. They got to sit in the truck and act like they were driving right before we got home. They thought that was about the coolest thing ever. soooooooo exciting.

Other events:
*Blazen had been playing outside on the porch. He started banging on the door, "me have to pee, me have to pee." I opened the door and hurried and showed him that we could just pee of the porch. He was TOTALLY impressed, "Mom, wook, I made a wainbow, a pee wainbow."
*Blazin was talking about how his brother is coming sometime, but he is in heaven now. He talked so much about his brother that Denim had to remind him that we don't know if the next one will be a boy or girl. I had to remind them both that the next one won't be for quite awhile. Denim asked if we could please have two next time. I am loving life as a mommy right now.
*This week a killer whale drug a trainer by her hair into the pool at sea world, Florida, and killed her. The kids were very interested as we have been looking at whales on the Internet.
