Today we drove to Duncan, NM to attend a 50th wedding anniversary for Sam and Jeannie Elkins. Sam is Nelda Rae's uncle. It was a really fun experience for us. Ace just loved being able to go and get better acquainted with the family. He loves the good people in his family and he loves being part of a big ranching heritage. There were a lot of family and friends that attended. I just hope that when Ace and I have been married for 50 yrs we will have created as rich a life as these two.
Ace's great grandparents, Mark and Ina Elkins had 7 children.
Nelda, Bud, Bill, Henry, Jean, Sam, Jim.
These three siblings are still kicking.
