Playday

Blazen, Levi, Hailey, Denim, Brandy Lynn, Jack, & Hannah.

This week we went to Albuquerque with friends and had a play day.  We have been planning to go since last fall, but we finally got it together.  We went to the Natural History Museum and Explora.  It was SUPER DUPER fun.  We brought pack lunches and shared in between.  We loved the planetarium, but 3/4 the way through the kids had seen enough Stars, "When is this movie going to be over."

We gave every kid a buddy.  It was fun that way.  Denim took her buddy responsibilities very serious.  She was with Hailey Whitney.

The girls climbed into the dinosaur nest and pretended to take care of the eggs almost ready to hatch.

Making animal prints in the sand was so fun, until the sand went straight to the mouth, obviously.

Explora was way fun.  The kids absolutely loved all of the hands on learning.  There are different stations that teach them.  Gravity, Water, Air, Building, Sound, Bubbles, Ect.

We were ready for an outside break.  We loved these jumbo lincoln logs.  I think Sarah liked them as much as the kids.

After the museums we got rooms to share with a pool.  We had a major problem as the rooms we had booked had their pool closed.  We ended up switching hotels, but it was worth it because the kids had a ball swimming for two hours.  We ordered in pizza and the kids zonked for the night.  It was such a wonderful time with these lovely ladies and their kids.
